Every act of making is an act of meaning.

The Kyoto YouMe Triennale positions art, design, and craft—“making”—as a fundamental human activity: one that generates new value and meaning from the myriad objects that surround us. The Triennale is a venue for fostering the unexpected encounters and creative emergence that this act of making makes possible.

YouMe Open is your entry point into this international exhibition, which reexamines the essence and future of “making.” Centered on satellite exhibitions and networking during the festival period, we support participants’ future overseas expansion, exhibitions, and business development.
