Marking Liberty's 150th anniversary, this exhibition sets the creative lineage of one of Britain's most influential names in design alongside the culture of Kyoto. Tracing Liberty's long relationship with craft, textile design and artistic innovation, it brings the house's distinctive visual language into the incomparable setting of Shōsei-en Garden. Reflecting the values of handwork, cultural exchange and creativity, the exhibition honours a tradition that continues to give rise to new forms of design and making across cultures.
