How it works
What the corporate hometown tax donation programme is.
This system allows companies to donate to local government–led regional revitalization projects, with approximately 90% of the donation deductible from corporate-related taxes. Companies can therefore support priority regional initiatives at an effective cost of roughly 10%. By ensuring funds are allocated directly to public projects, the scheme lets companies combine participation in work of high social value with a significant reduction in tax burden.
The Kyōto YouMe Triennale is designated as a regional revitalization project of Kyoto Prefecture and is eligible under this program.
